Hi, I’m Emily!
I’m so glad you’re here.
My experience with children began nearly 18 years ago, which led me to study Early Childhood Education (birth to age 8) and Elementary Education (pre-K through 6th grade) at Colorado State University. After graduating in 2019, I began teaching kindergarten in Boulder Valley Schools while continuing my education and earning a master’s degree in English Language Learning.
In 2022, I became the director of a private early learning center while continuing my studies in Educational Technology. Since 2024, I have supported a variety of students and parents through consultations, legal support, and one-on-one or small-group tutoring. My experience includes public school, homeschool, preschool, and nontraditional educational paths, including support for students working toward alternative high school completion options.
When I’m not working or studying, I love spending time outside or reading. You’ll often find me in the garden or in the kitchen with my husband, our German Shepherd, and the people I love most. My nieces and nephews, now old enough to drive, are a big part of what inspires my passion for teaching and supporting the next generation.
